Unfortunately, there is a beautiful and affordable option that most of the travelers miss. Da Nang is the wonderful city in the central part of the historic Vietnam that has many beautiful beaches and quite a few historical, tourist places. As a traveler, I was very surprised to see how people miss this heaven. In Vietnam, it is the third-largest city as it has the highest urban population and also an important port city in the country.

Travelers choose this beautiful city as it is away from the densely populated areas of Vietnam and also has many wonderful attractions. From authentic local cuisines to mouth-watering coffees, Da Nang has almost everything that a vacationer needs.  Here are some of the most obvious reasons to choose Da Nang as your next travel destination.

Breath-taking beaches:

In recent times, Da Nang has gained its popularity among the travelers all because of its awesome beaches. Not one, not two but five beaches attract tourists with the beautiful views and clean white sand.

Non-Nuoc Beach

With soft waves and white sand, the pristine Non-Nuoc Beach tops the list as it rests near the beautiful Marble Mountain which has a cluster of five elements: Hos, Tho, Kim, Thuy, and Moc. Not only the marble mountain but also, the beach is nearer to Co Co river which offers boat ride and the stone carving village. If you want a beautiful place to camp and rest, then this beach is beat as it has the casuarina forest on the coast. The feeling of the moonlit night, sounds of the sea, and the songs of the old trees makes tourists feel like being in the heaven.

Nam O Beach

With moderate slopes along the foothills, Nam O Beach got its name from Chau O, the old region of the Vietnam in the past. The beach has breath-taking views as the mountain reflects on the sea, white sand kisses the water, and the sea vegetable vines create an excellent bed. It acts as a hub to reach Son Tra Peninsula by road or to Ka0tu village by boat.

My Khe Beach

Said to be one of the beautiful and awesome beaches in the world, My Khe beach attracts tourists as it boasts white sand on a 20-mile stretch. During the Vietnam War, the American troops named it as My Khe since it has picturesque views. With seafood restaurants and top-class hotels and resorts, this beach is an ideal spot for sunbathing, snorkeling, surfing, swimming, jet skiing and few other water sports.

Son Tra Peninsula

With three famous beaches namely the north beach, the south beach and the But Beach, Son Tra Peninsula attracts many tourists as it has beautiful forests surrounding. The primeval forests have abandoned flora and fauna, and the seabed has beautiful coral reefs which are ideal for snorkeling and diving. For the fishing lovers, Son Tra Peninsula offers basket boats to catch fished and squids.

Thanh Binh Beach

Located in the center coast of the Da Nang City, Thanh Binh beach is ideal for tourists who are on a date. Not only for tourists but also, the natives visit this beautiful beach just to relax after a stressful day at college and work. This beach offers yachting, canoeing, windsurfing and many thrilling games which attract the tourists from around the world.

Being the educational and commercial center of the central Vietnam, Da Nang is becoming the luxury and MICE destination for people from around the world. Marble Mountains

The peaks are named as water (Son), wood (Moc Son), fire (Hoa Son), metal (Kim Son) and earth (Tho Son). Pagoda temples and Buddhist sanctuaries are scattered across the mountains. Many locals and tourists believe this place to be a must-visit in Da Nang.

Dragon Bridge

Measuring 666 meters in length, the Dragon Bridge is the longest bridge in the whole Vietnam. The sin-lane bridge crosses the Han River and is constructed in the shape of a dragon which attracts photographers from around the world. While being majestic during the daytime, this magnificent bridge is beautiful and shining during the late evening and nights as it is lit with colorful LED lights. Not only lights but it also breathes fire and water during the weekends.

Hai Van Pass

Standing 500 meters above the sea level, Hai Van Pass is the highest pass in Vietnam as it is located on the border of the Da Nang city and the Thua Thien-hue Province. This pass offers magnificent views of the clear blue skies, green mountains, Da Nang city, Son Tra Peninsula and the South China Sea. It also has a French-built fort which was later used as a bunker by the US armies and the South Vietnamese during the Vietnam war. Attracted by many local motorist and tourists, Hai Van Pass is challenging for the new riders as the weather drops down to 17 degrees between September to March.
