The name of the city on the board of Portugal
There is a lot ot controversy of the origin of the name of the city, but i believe in that one i heard once as a child.
It happened that at the time when kings still lived in the palace, the king (do not remember his name) enjoyed a lot of hunting and did it almost every day. He took the horse and there would he ride to the forest which is close to the palace. But there was a day that the hunt was to be so good that he forgot about the hours. He went on and began to dusk, until it was completely dark, and he was lost there in the woods, did not know how to get back to the palace. Then walked a little and there at the bottom saw a little light and asked what light is that one. After all was to see and it was a small chapel, and was ready to call Queluz.
The Royal Palace of Queluz
The palace was builded in XVIII century by the orders of D.Pedro I with the intuit of being a summer house. But he liked so much of the result of the palace, especially the gardens, deciding to live there. For the time passes, he married D. Maria I. Was accomitted by the lost of the son D.Pedro III,and D.José, the prince heir. With that, D. Maria I get afflicted for the deads, was not herself anymore, and get lost to insanity. Then, D.João VI reclaimed the trone. They remained there until the french invasions in 1807, forced to leave to Brazil to salve themselves.
If you’re looking for a place to move, where you can build a structure of life and raise your sons with tranquility and safety, i recommend it for you. With a low criminality score, a lot of parks, quality on education , a dign halloween day, and a diversity of green spots. And you have the chance to see and touch snow during the winter, is unique.
Growning up on this city : my story version
I lived in a complex of apartments in the middle of the city, near to a school androunded by a wood. I had a great live there thanks to my parents and i can say that i created a family with my neighbours, because once they embrace you , you’re in home. And i had the chance of experiencing something there, that changed me a lot, the country have a temporary adoption system that allows you to receive children and adolescentes in your house for help them, to let them know what Family feels like, and my parents have done that to four children simultaneous, so i had four sisters to call mine! I think part of my character was build based on that, equality between us, love between us, counselling and grown up together. With the time they fond they own houses and people to care about them and constructo their own Family too. When i get twelve i moved to Brazil, but thats a lot os travel stories in the mean time to i tell you about and after that event even more! So keep in touch!
Places you must go!
I will start with the best chocolate croissant that i ate in my entire life trip. The place is named Silrosa and is on Aquário do Mirante Street, 2745.
If you like chinese food , you must go to “O Grande Mundo” on António Ennes Avenue, 25. Is a awesome dinner out to families, they’re specially gentle and nice to teach you how to use a hachi.
