Boracay, Philippines: The top five (5) bars, lounges with live music and clubs

The White beach Boracay is not only famous for it’s drop dead gorgeous sun, breathtaking view of  the friendly swaying palm trees as they welcome the blue ocean to the sea of tourists and travelers everyday. The beautiful Island is also known for it’s flourishing everyday nightlife.

Being that traveler that craves music, visiting this Island every summer and for more than 10 times now allowed me to somehow learn by heart and remember the best bars, lounges with live music and clubs from station one (1) to three (3). I’m sure a lot of you would agree that traveling without music would be very boring, so I must say that this blog is as important as knowing the ways of transportation from one place to another.

In this blog I tried to recall the bars, lounges I’ve been too and a few clubs with unique marketing strategies, that has caught my attention while I was on a one week vacation in Boracay just this month (July, 2016). I tried to list down the top five (5) Boracay Nightlife venues that I really do think signifies every traveler’s personality.

This travel guide will try to make it easier for you to discover the bars, clubs, lounges and parties that fits your personality! Bring out that beach baby spirit at night darling and live a little more. Boracay at night time is as beautiful as the day, I swear!

a small piece of advice: This travel guide is one of the few latest blog about Boracay Island’s bars, lounges and clubs that you’ll find on the internet, so I recommend you to save the link and share them to your fellow travelers that would like to visit the white beach, Boracay.

Boracay Bars

I’m sure you guys will encounter various beach bars when walking from stations one (1) to three (3). However, I will be sharing a few of my favorites from the Island that never sleeps.

I. Aplaya Beach Bar (Station 1, front beach)

This Beach Bar would be top on my list. Aplaya Beach Bar is one of the classy and nice place to chill. Shisha nights, beach bean bags and a lot more. This place will literally make you feel that beach vibes overload. They serve Mediterranean food which you can order from their restaurant too.

Facebook page : Aplaya Beach Bar

Happy hour : 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM

Drinks starts at 90 pesos and above

Opening hours: 8:00 AM- 1:00 AM

II. Nigi Nigi Nu Noos Bar (Station 1, front beach)

This one is another favorite of mine. This has been established and has been operating at Boracay for more than a decade. The place has this really good band which will make you fall in love over and over again with life. Good people and good music. They play mostly Classic Rock music.

Opening hours: 7:00 AM- 1:00 AM

Drink Prices starts at : PHP 55.00 (one of the cheapest price offered on the Island, Hidden gem here!)

Lounges and Live Music

Boracay has a lot more of live music and lounges, however this one I will be sharing is one of the most unique restobar in the Island.

Hobbit house (D’mall, Station 1)

The hobbit house is not actually a lounge but a restaurant with live music. They serve really good food, it’s a bit pricey though compared to the usual price range in the area, but still. Literally speaking adorable waiters serve you their best food in their menu such as steak (the rib eye steak costs the most among all cuisines, but is also a must try!), roasted chicken herb etc. I swear you have to check this place out.

Boracay Clubs

Most travelers in Boracay at night spend their evening chilling at the random beach bars with a few drinks prior to moving and dancing their heart out at night clubs. These clubs usually become busy from 12:00 Midnight. The music played on night clubs varies per night. These beach clubs usually post the kind of music that they will be playing on their Facebook pages, so I suggest you can go check their pages individually.

Cocomangas: (Station 1, front beach)

Shout out to Men! This club is known as a venue to go if you want to meet gorgeous ladies! This club is famous for it’s fifteen (15) shots challenge. The Club Cocomangas challenges a anyone to finish fifteen shots and be standing still, if this happens your name will be engraved on a wall and your score will be added to the score of your country.

Opening hours: 7:30 am- 3:00 am

Drinks starts at PHP 100 and above

EPIC : ( located next to D’mall, front beach, Station 2)

At the early hours of the day you’ll see this as a resto bar, and at night the people working for the bar moves the tables out and magically turn the place into a club with a classy dance floor. The best part of this beach club is that, literally they extend the dance floor onto the beach. How cool is that? Feeling the salt in the air, sand on your feet and actually dancing under the moonlight. This is also one of the most classy clubs at the front beach. I knew about this place due to an invitation from a blogger of when in manila who invited  me and my company during my last visit at the Island.

Facebook page : Epic Boracay

Opening hours: 11:00 AM- 4:00 AM

Drink Prices: Starts at PHP 90 above

Entrance: Thu- Sun PHP 300 and above (of course this varies according to the event) usually includes 3 drinks.

Of course! Boracay has a lot of bars, lounges with live music and clubs to choose from. The one’s I’ve listed above are only a few of the many favorites of both locals and travelers in the Island. I promise to explore more about these Boracay night life venues so I could tell you guys more about it. I hope this Travel guide was able to bring out that beach baby spirit and made it a whole lot easier in finding some of the best nightlife places in the Island!
